Prints for Conservation

Our nephew, Oliver, who some of you will have met on your safaris, has just launched a new initiative called Prints for Conservation which showcases a group of Kenyan safari guides’ beautiful, impactful photographs. The website offers a stunning selection of fine art photographic prints for sale online, with free shipping options. Both Max and Oliver's work is available to be purchased through the site. A percentage of every sale will be donated to a different conservation group each month. The supported conservation groups are For RangersTsavo Trust and Mara Elephant Project

Through this initiative they aim to raise awareness for conservation groups in Kenya, which - without support from tourism and donors - are at risk of collapsing. Kenya depends heavily on the tourism sector as a source of foreign exchange, employment and revenue. Opportunistic surges in commercial and bush meat poaching are expected as the effects of Covid-19 take their toll on an increasingly hungry population.

More than ever, we need to find ways to support these organisations. Without support, it has been estimated that conservation efforts in Kenya could be set back 30 years and thousands of people forced into poverty. Browse the website www.printsforconservation.com and you can contact them on info@printsforconservation.com. Please share this email with anyone you think might be interested in supporting this initiative.
